Destinée Media began as a book publishing company, and to this day that is what we remain in the business sense.

It is our goal and mission to work with authors through the whole process of publishing their manuscript.  We welcome manuscript submissions.

Unlike our competitors, we want to publish your manuscript as you want it published.  We want to get to know you not only as an author, but as a person. We are personal people, and we believe that your personal story is as important as the story or ideas contained in your manuscript.

Our Publishing Process

From first contact to the final product, our promise to you, the author, is to walk through the publishing process from start to finish. Whether you have a manuscript that is completed, or simply have an idea for a book, we want to work with you to publish your book.

First Contact

The first step, of course, is primary contact. After this is established, we require a brief form to be filled out where you provide us details about yourself, your book idea, why your book is unique, why you chose to write on your subject, along with other pertinent details to our business process.

You may also register here on our site. Once you receive a confirmation email, you can upload your manuscript by following the directions on the Manuscript Submissions page.

Production Steps

During manuscript creation and edit, we will help with and consult about:

• Editing
• Formatting
• Cover design

Each author is responsible for having their own editor, as Destinée Media does not have the capability of editing every manuscript in-house at this point in time. We will, however, read your manuscript in its entirety. Each author is also responsible for their cover design, though we will aid in finalizing the graphics for submission to the printer. It is our promise to you that your book will be published, in its entirety, as you want it. Cover design can be negotiated for a fee.

Once your manuscript is finalized and a cover design is assembled, we will publish your book and make it available in both location-specific and online booksellers.

Marketing

By working together, we will execute a marketing plan designed to get your book noticed. This plan begins months before the finalized book is published, to allow for reviews to be assembled and buzz to be generated regarding your book. Remember, marketing = sales!
