KENT McCLAIN
Biography
Kent McClain has served for over forty-five years in different Christian school and church ministries throughout the United States. He has held positions as a school superintendent, teacher, senior pastor, associate minister, children and family life pastor, and youth director. He has three master’s degrees in education, biblical studies, and communication. Kent also has a doctorate in practical ministries. Married for over forty years to his wife Myrna, who is a school teacher, they have two grown children and four grandchildren.
His goals in the years to come include teaching parents how to disciple their children through a spiritually decaying world, preaching, and writing Christian-based articles confronting the social issues and harmful practices endemic to this current generation. His writings are relational and intuitively informed by his first hand experience as a teacher and father.
Currently Kent lives in his Boise, Idaho and is working full time as an author on a series of Christian Parenting articles and books called Teachable Moments.
